From Mhalasapati's perspective, what was his role and responsibility during Baba's death-like trance?

📖 Chapter 44

Mhalasapati played a crucial role as the faithful guardian of Sai Baba during the 1886 three-day samadhi. Chapter 44 notes that his wisdom had previously averted this 'ill-fate' and he was now entrusted with a direct command. When Baba's body became motionless, Mhalasapati immediately gave his lap as a pillow. He remained alert day and night, guarding Sai Baba and refusing to move his lap, even as others lost hope and began discussing burial. Despite Baba's own instruction to dig a Samadhi, Mhalasapati's unwavering devotion and courage led him to protect the body and wait for Baba's promised return.
