For how long was Amir Shakkar instructed to stay in the dilapidated Chavadi, and what was his mindset during this difficult period?

📖 Chapter 22

Amir Shakkar was ordained by Sai Baba to stay in the Chavadi for a full nine months. The external conditions were completely contrary to what one would desire for healing rheumatism; the place was damp, cold, and uncomfortable. However, Chapter 22 highlights that Amir's internal state was one of certain faith. He accepted Baba's word as the ultimate medicine and, as a result, he stayed there happily. This shows that despite the physical hardships, his faith in Sai Baba was unwavering, and he understood that the true remedy was not in physical comfort but in obedience and proximity to the Guru.
