Explore the concept of non-duality presented in Chapter 1. How is Sai Baba identified with the various deities being invoked?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 1

Chapter 1 of the Sai Satcharitra introduces a profound theme of non-duality by identifying Sai Baba with the very deities being invoked for blessings. For instance, after praising Lord Ganesha as the destroyer of obstacles, the text asserts that "This Sai himself is Ganesha Ganapati." Similarly, after invoking the Goddess of Speech, it is revealed that "Sai himself is Goddess Saraswati, holding the Omkara-veena in hand, singing his own life story." The chapter extends this concept by addressing Sai directly as the embodiment of the divine trinity, stating, "O self-effulgent Sainath, you alone are our Lord of Ganas (Ganadhish), the Lord of Savitri (Brahma), the Lord of Rama (Vishnu), or the Lord of Uma (Shiva)." This establishes from the outset that Sai is the compassionate, all-encompassing divine principle in a non-dual form.
