Explain the spiritual process of listening and contemplation as described in the Shri Sai Satcharitra and its ultimate outcome.

📖 Chapter 3

Chapter 3 outlines a specific spiritual methodology for devotees. The process begins with listening to Sai's stories with respect, which helps cure diseases and allows the consciousness of worldly affairs to fade. The next step is to contemplate them fully. After contemplation, the devotee should practice deep meditation (Nididhyasana). The ultimate outcome of this dedicated practice is profound spiritual transformation. It leads to a state of peace where the sense of a separate self, or 'I am That' (Aham-Soham), dissolves. The mind transcends its normal state, and the heart becomes a "cloud of consciousness" (Chaitanyaghan), achieved through exclusive and complete faith in Sai.
