Explain the relationship between ignorance (Avidya), duality, and fear as presented in the Satcharita.

In the teachings found in Chapter 37 of the Satcharita, ignorance, duality, and fear are intrinsically linked in a chain of cause and effect. Ignorance, or 'Avidya', is identified as the root cause of all suffering because it establishes the perception of manifoldness, or duality. The text is very clear that 'where there is an obsession with duality, there fear enters.' This perception of difference is what traps a person in the cycle of birth and death. The text further defines Avidya as being concerned only with 'Preyas' (the pleasant) instead of 'Shreyas' (the ultimate good). The solution is to acquire knowledge (Vidya) from the Guru, which destroys ignorance, eliminates the perception of duality, and grants a non-dual intellect, thereby creating a state free from fear.
