Kashiram was a total devotee who served Maharaj with his body, mind, and wealth. As described in Chapter 0, his service took many forms. He provided for Maharaj's physical needs, taking a vow to supply chillum, tobacco, and firewood for the Dhuni. He also took care of Baba's attire, once stitching and giving him a green kafni and a green cap, although Maharaj usually wore white. Financially, Kashiram was extremely generous, initially placing his entire money bag before Maharaj and urging him to take what he wished.
