Explain how the actions of Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre were instrumental in arranging Dixit's journey to Shirdi.

📖 Chapter 51

Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre played a brief but crucial role as agents of Baba's will. As described in Chapter 51, they were passing by, seemingly on the pretext of visiting an exhibition, at the exact moment Madhavrao Deshpande's carriage arrived in Nagar. Recognizing him as the 'priest of Shirdi,' they were filled with joy, immediately realizing he was the perfect solution for their friend Dixit's problem. They acted decisively, approaching Madhavrao and telling him, 'Dixit Kaka has come; go to Mirikar’s house and see Baba’s miracle.' By creating this connection between the anxious Dixit and the available Madhavrao, they served as the key link that brought Baba's plan to fruition, bringing immense relief and satisfaction to Dixit.
