Chapter 22 explains in detail how Amir Shakkar received frequent visions of Baba despite being confined to the Chavadi and barred from the Masjid. The location of the Chavadi was key. Baba's daily path for collecting alms in the morning passed by the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see Him both coming and going. In the evenings, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi and perform his ritual of saluting the directions. Most significantly, on every alternate day when Baba slept in the Chavadi, they were separated by just a nominal curtain and would talk to each other with calm minds after the other devotees had left for their homes.
Even though he was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, how was Amir Shakkar able to get Baba's vision so often?
