Although Amir Shakkar was forbidden from visiting the Masjid for darshan during his nine-month stay, the Chavadi's location turned out to be a great blessing. Chapter 22 explains that the placement was such that Baba's vision "happened automatically without effort." Amir could see Baba every morning as He passed by the Chavadi on His alms round, and again in the evening when He came in front of the Chavadi to salute all directions. Furthermore, on the alternate days when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a plank door and would talk privately after the other devotees left for their homes.
Even though he couldn't go to the Masjid, how did Amir Shakkar still get to see Baba so often?
