Even though Dev didn't recognize Sai Baba as the Sanyasi, how did he treat these uninvited guests during the Udyapan?

📖 Chapter 40

Despite being under a state of delusion and not recognizing his esteemed guest, Dev fulfilled his duties as a host with respect and generosity. Chapter 40 states that when the Sanyasi arrived with his two companions, Dev seated all three, and they "were thoroughly satisfied by the meal." After the main meal, Dev completed all the proper rituals, including the final sipping of water (Uttaraposhan) and providing mouth fresheners. Furthermore, the text mentions that Dev gave sandalwood paste, flowers, betel leaves, perfume, and rosewater to everyone, including the Sanyasi's group, "with great respect and joy," demonstrating that he treated his unexpected guests very well.
