Although Amir Shakkar was confined to the Chavadi and forbidden from visiting the Masjid, the location was such that he received Sai Baba's vision automatically. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's daily routine conveniently brought him near the Chavadi. Every morning, Baba's path for seeking alms went by the Chavadi, allowing Amir an easy vision. Similarly, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Furthermore, on every alternate night when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, there was only a nominal curtain and a plank door separating them, allowing for conversation after other devotees had left.
Even though Amir was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how did he still manage to get Sai Baba's darshan regularly?
