Even though Amir was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how did he still get to see Sai Baba regularly?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 22

Despite being forbidden from visiting the Masjid, Amir Shakkar's stay in the Chavadi ironically granted him frequent and easy access to Sai Baba's darshan. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's vision happened "automatically without effort." This occurred because Baba's daily routine took him directly past the Chavadi. Every morning, Amir could see Baba during his alms rounds, and every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Furthermore, on alternate nights when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a plank door and would talk privately after other devotees left, affording Amir a unique and intimate companionship.
