Even though Amir was confined to the Chavadi, how did this 'imprisonment' ironically allow him to see Baba frequently?

📖 Chapter 22

Although Amir Shakkar was forbidden from visiting the Masjid and felt his stay in the Chavadi was like imprisonment, its location provided him with automatic and effortless opportunities to see Sai Baba. Chapter 22 details this unique situation. Daily, Baba's path for alms in the morning went right by the Chavadi, so Amir got to see him both when he went and when he returned. Also, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions before heading back to the Masjid. Most importantly, on every alternate day when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a plank door and would talk to each other after the devotees left, providing firm companionship.
