Even though Amir was confined to the Chavadi for nine months, how did he still manage to get Sai Baba's darshan?

📖 Chapter 22

Despite being forbidden from even going to the Masjid, Amir Shakkar's confinement in the Chavadi ironically afforded him numerous opportunities to see Sai Baba. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's daily routine made this possible. Every morning, Baba's path for begging alms passed by the Chavadi, so Amir got an easy vision of Him coming and going. In the evenings, Baba would stand in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Most significantly, every alternate night, Baba himself would stay in the Chavadi, separated from Amir by only a plank door, allowing them to talk with calm minds after the other devotees went home.
