During the Chavadi procession, how is Sai Baba's appearance and position described as he walked?

As the procession moved towards the Chavadi, Sai Baba's presence was described with royal reverence. Chapter 51 of the Sai Satcharita notes that a royal umbrella was held over His head. On Baba's left, Tatya Patil would walk holding a lantern, while on His right, another devotee would hold the end of His cloth. The text beautifully describes His appearance, stating that Baba’s face, already having a golden hue, shone like gold mixed with copper in the light of the lamps, resembling the morning sun. Before entering the Chavadi, Baba would stop, face north, and perform ritualistic hand movements, as if calling someone.
