Dixit had a physical disability. How did he view this lameness, and what did he ask from Sai Baba during their first meeting?

📖 Chapter 4

Kaka Saheb Dixit viewed his physical lameness not as a deficiency but as a secondary issue compared to the state of his mind. Chapter 4 explains that when Chandorkar suggested Sai Baba could heal his leg, Dixit's focus was elsewhere. He believed that the true ailment was the 'lameness of the mind.' Consequently, when he first had the holy sight of Sai on November 2, 1909, he requested that Baba remove this inner, spiritual lameness. He saw the physical body as a momentary vessel and prioritized his spiritual growth over the healing of his lame leg.
