Did Sai Baba recommend any specific dietary rules, like fasting or feasting?

📖 Chapter 32

Sai Baba advocated for a balanced and moderate approach to eating rather than extreme practices. According to Chapter 32, while he was firmly against fasting, viewing it as a cause of continuous discomfort that hinders spiritual life, he also taught that excessive eating is not beneficial. The ideal he promoted was "moderate eating," which is described as being truly comfortable. His core belief was that the body's needs must be met first to enable spiritual pursuits. He famously stated that one should first eat a piece of bread before trying to find God, as a hungry soul cannot find peace or realize the divine.
