Did Sai Baba really die? What does the text say happened to him?

According to the teachings in Chapter 43, one should not entertain the doubt that Shri Sai is subject to death. The scriptures explain that saints like Baba are beyond the womb and appear on Earth for the sake of helping others. When their task is complete, they merge back into their true, unmanifest form. Baba was not limited to his physical body; he is described as a powerful, miraculous avatar who became one with Brahman. He is said to have burned his body in the fire of Yoga, transcending the material state to enjoy his true self. Therefore, the mind should not accept that his body truly perished.
