Did Sai Baba really die? What do the scriptures say about his passing?

For a Yogi like Sai Samarth, who is described as the complete Supreme Brahman, concepts of birth and death are inapplicable. These are seen as false imaginations. The text explains that he could die at will, and he chose to burn his body in the fire of Yoga, merging himself into the unmanifest. He now resides in the hearts of his devotees. Therefore, to say his body 'perished' is something the mind cannot accept, as he simply attained his previous unmanifest state.
