Did Sai Baba ever claim to be God? What did he say about himself?

📖 Chapter 23

While many devotees considered Sai Baba to be an Incarnation (Avatar), Chapter 23 clarifies that he himself maintained a very humble position. The text explicitly states that he never proclaimed "Anal Haq" (I am God). Instead, he would refer to himself as "a humble servant in the court of Allah" or "a poor servant." His constant chants, as mentioned in this chapter, were "Ya-De-Haq" (He is the Truth) and "Allah Malik" (God is the Master). This demonstrates that he consistently presented himself as a devoted servant of God rather than God Himself.
