Did Baba have an opinion on how much one should eat? Was it just about not fasting?

📖 Chapter 32

Sai Baba promoted a balanced approach to eating, warning against extremes on both ends. While he was firmly against fasting, believing it caused discomfort and a lack of mental peace, he did not advocate for gluttony. As Chapter 32 clearly states, 'Excessive eating is also not beneficial.' The ideal path he recommended was moderation, noting that 'Moderate eating is truly comfortable.' This middle path ensures that the body and senses receive the necessary strength for devotion without succumbing to the weakness of hunger or the lethargy of overeating. His core principle was to nourish the body appropriately so that one could peacefully engage in spiritual life.
