Despite the terrible living conditions, what was the ultimate spiritual benefit for Amir Shakkar during his nine-month stay in the Chavadi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 22

Although the external conditions of the Chavadi were contrary to healing, the spiritual benefit for Amir was immense. As explained in Chapter 22, by accepting Baba's word as medicine, Amir's internal faith remained strong. The primary benefit was the constant and effortless vision of Sai Baba. He was forbidden from going to the Masjid, but his location allowed him to see Baba every morning and evening during His daily routines. Furthermore, on nights Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a nominal curtain and could converse privately, making the company of Sai the 'Great Prasad'.
