Despite the terrible conditions, why did Amir Shakkar remain in the Chavadi for nine months?

📖 Chapter 22

Amir Shakkar's decision to stay in the Chavadi for nine months stemmed from his profound and certain faith in Sai Baba. As Chapter 22 explains, although the external conditions like dampness and cold were completely contrary to healing rheumatism, Amir held an unwavering internal faith. Baba's firm words were his only medicine, and he was told not to question the place. He accepted this command as a 'Great Prasad' and stayed happily, believing that his faith would ensure everything went well, even though he was forbidden from going to the Masjid for Baba's darshan.
