Despite the terrible conditions of the Chavadi, what was the ultimate blessing Amir Shakkar received from staying there?

📖 Chapter 22

Although the Chavadi was a dreadful place and Amir Shakkar suffered from rheumatism, the ultimate blessing he received was the constant and effortless darshan of Sai Baba. Chapter 22 highlights this paradox by stating that while the place was doubtful, the company of Sai was the 'Great Prasad'. Because he was stationed at the Chavadi, he didn't have to seek out Baba. Baba's path naturally took him past Amir's location multiple times a day. He got to see Baba during His morning alms round, every evening, and during the Chavadi procession every other night. This placement ensured that Baba's vision happened 'automatically without effort,' allowing Amir to see the splendor of Baba to his heart's content.
