Although the Chavadi was physically inhospitable, Amir Shakkar's stay became a profound blessing due to his faith and proximity to Baba. According to Chapter 22, he was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, but his location in the Chavadi meant that Baba's vision came to him automatically and without effort. He could see Baba every morning and evening during His daily rounds. On alternate nights when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, a simple plank door separated them, allowing them to converse privately after the other devotees had left. Thus, by accepting Baba's word as medicine, he received the invaluable 'company of Sai' as a 'Great Prasad'.
Despite the terrible conditions, how did Amir Shakkar's stay in the Chavadi become a blessing?
