Despite the harsh environment of the Chavadi, what spiritual advantages did Amir Shakkar gain from his stay?

📖 Chapter 22

Although the physical conditions of the Chavadi were abysmal, Amir Shakkar's stay there provided immense spiritual benefits. Chapter 22 explains that while it seemed like imprisonment externally, it was internally a period of firm companionship with Sai. The primary benefit was the constant, effortless vision of Baba. He saw Baba every morning during His alms round and every evening when Baba would come before the Chavadi. Furthermore, on the nights Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a nominal curtain and would talk with calm minds after the devotees left. This close proximity and company of Sai was considered a "Great Prasad" and a rare fortune.
