Despite the hardships, how did Amir Shakkar's stay in the Chavadi become a blessing?

πŸ“– Chapter 22

Although the external conditions of the Chavadi were extremely difficult, Amir's stay became a blessing because of the constant proximity to Sai Baba it afforded him. Chapter 22 explains that because of the Chavadi's location, Baba's vision happened automatically without effort. Amir could see Baba during his morning alms rounds and evening routines right from his spot. Furthermore, on the alternate nights Baba stayed in the Chavadi, there was only a nominal curtain between them, allowing them to talk with calm minds after other devotees had left.
