Paradoxically, Amir Shakkar's confinement to the Chavadi facilitated constant contact with Sai Baba. According to Chapter 22, Baba's daily and nightly routines ensured Amir received his darshan effortlessly. Baba's path for morning alms passed by the Chavadi, allowing Amir a vision as He went and came. In the evenings, Baba would also come in front of the Chavadi. Furthermore, on every alternate night that Baba stayed in the Chavadi, only a nominal curtain and a plank door separated them, allowing them to talk with calm minds after other devotees left. This continuous proximity was the true blessing of his prescribed stay.
