Despite being confined to the Chavadi, how did Amir Shakkar still get to see Sai Baba regularly?

📖 Chapter 22

Although Amir Shakkar's nine-month stay in the Chavadi was like an imprisonment, his location paradoxically granted him frequent and effortless visions of Sai Baba. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's daily routine naturally brought him into Amir's view. Every morning, Baba's path for collecting alms took him past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see him as he went and returned. In the evenings, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Most significantly, Baba slept in the Chavadi every alternate night, separated from Amir by only a plank door, which allowed them to converse privately after the other devotees had left.
