Describe the wonder that occurred when Sai Baba prepared the chillum for Chand Patil.

When Chand Patil returned with his mare, he sat with the Fakir, whom he now recognized as a saint. As detailed in Chapter 5, Baba wished to prepare the chillum for them to smoke, but he needed a glowing ember to light it. In a display of his divine power, the Fakir picked up a pair of tongs (chimta), thrust them directly into the earth, and pulled out a glowing, live coal. He then placed this miraculously produced ember on the chillum, demonstrating his extraordinary abilities to the amazed Chand Patil.
