Chapter 31 provides a vivid description of the tiger's transformation upon meeting Sai Baba. Initially, the animal was described as fierce, terrible, strong, and extremely restless due to its disease. However, when the darveshis brought it before Sai, a miraculous change occurred. As soon as the tiger came near Baba's feet and their eyes met, it was startled and bowed its head with what is described as great reverence. It then raised its tail and struck the ground three times before placing its body at Sai's feet, where it fell unconscious and motionless. After giving one terrifying roar, the tiger died right there, astounding all the people who witnessed the event.
