Describe the thought process and motivation of the parents when they finally decided to go to Shirdi.

📖 Chapter 34

According to Chapter 34, the parents' decision to go to Shirdi was born out of complete desperation after all other options had failed. Having exhausted native and foreign medical treatments, surgery, and even the worship of deities without any success, they felt helpless. It was at this point that word of a famous 'Avaliya' (saint) in Shirdi reached them. They heard that this great saint, Sai Maharaj, could heal diseases just by his sight. Their motivation was driven by this glimmer of hope. They reasoned, "He is a great Avaliya. If he applies Udi with his own hand, even incurable diseases perish. What is there to lose in gaining this experience?" They saw this as their last resort and the only potential way to save their son from his suffering, prompting them to pack their things and travel to Shirdi.
