Describe the tense moments of the snake's discovery in the Maruti temple.

📖 Chapter 22

The discovery was a moment of high tension. According to Chapter 22, Mirikar was completely engrossed in reading a newspaper in the lamplight. A snake had silently entered and coiled itself on the soft, upper cloth at his waist, a fact no one noticed. A 'sur-sur-sur-sur' sound was heard, but it was not identified as a snake. A peon, curious about the sound, lifted a lamp to investigate and suddenly saw the snake, which the text calls 'Lambu Maharaj'. He immediately panicked and shouted softly, "Snake! Snake!", which caused Mirikar's courage to fail and his whole body to tremble.
