Tatya Patil was cured of his disease through a profound and strange dream experience orchestrated by Sai Baba. As recounted in Chapter 13, Patil had two dreams. In the first, a teacher beat him with a cane. This was immediately followed by a second, even stranger dream where a gentleman sat on his chest, took a grinding stone, and used his chest as a mortar, causing him extreme agony. Despite the terrifying nature of these visions, when Patil woke up in the morning, he felt an unprecedented freshness and realized his disease had completely vanished. The punishment in the dream was Baba's grace, which destroyed the illness.
