Describe the sequence of events leading to the afternoon Arati and the fulfillment of Laxmichand's desire.

📖 Chapter 28

The story from Chapter 28 describes a beautiful sequence of events. First, a devotee approached Baba with worship materials, asking what naivedya (food offering) to bring. Baba specifically ordered, "Bring me a plate full of khaja; then do the arati-puja." After the devotee returned with the offering, the afternoon arati was performed. Following the arati, Baba announced to all the assembled devotees that he felt like having khaja prasad and instructed that it should be served to everyone. It was during this mealtime distribution that Laxmichand, who was suffering from hunger and an intense, unspoken craving for khaja, finally received the prasad, and his attachment was fulfilled.
