The events unfolded in a miraculous sequence orchestrated by Sai Baba. According to Chapter 28, on the third day of Laxmichand's visit, devotees approached Baba at the masjid to ask what naivedya (food offering) He desired. Baba explicitly instructed them to "Bring me a plate full of khaja; then do the arati-puja." Following this divine instruction, the afternoon arati was completed. Afterwards, Baba declared to the gathered devotees, "Today is an auspicious day; I feel like having khaja prasad." This prompted devotees to bring two bowls full of the sweet, which was then distributed, ensuring that the very hungry Laxmichand's unexpressed wish was fulfilled.
