Mhalasapati and Maharaj shared an extremely close and affectionate relationship. According to Chapter 0, Maharaj would alternate where he slept, spending one night in the Masjid and the next in the Chavadi. On the nights Maharaj stayed in the Masjid, Mhalasapati would devotedly sit by his side until dawn, and the two would engage in very affectionate conversations. This routine of sitting in the Masjid all night every other day continued without fail until Mhalasapati passed away. He was considered a highly advanced and selfless person who provided guidance and joy to other devotees.
