Describe the Ram Navami flag procession in Shirdi and Damu Anna's connection to it.

📖 Chapter 25

The annual Ram Navami festival in Shirdi featured a procession with two large new flags. As detailed in Chapter 25, Damu Anna, a wealthy devotee from Ahmednagar, had a long-standing vow to provide one of these two flags. The other belonged to the Nimonkars. The procession would commence from the house of Kondaji Sutara, the carpenter, and proceed through Shirdi accompanied by the sound of musical instruments. The tradition concluded when the long banners were tied to the two ends of the Masjid. Damu Anna's consistent, loving fulfillment of this vow for many years demonstrates his deep and public devotion to Sai Baba.
