According to the preface in Chapter 0, the best and most certain service in writing that can grant salvation is to write the biography of one's own Sadguru. This should be undertaken either by the Guru's command or from inner inspiration. The process involves not just writing but also personally studying it regularly, performing hundreds of readings called Parayans, and conducting weekly recitations known as Saptahs. To be effective, this must be done with a firm resolve, pure heart, excellent faith, selfless love, and unwavering devotion. This type of service, which engages the body and speech, does not interfere with family life and can be performed for either worldly prosperity (Kamya) or selfless liberation (Nishkam), with the latter being considered superior.
