During his visit to Shirdi, Balasaheb Deo had a couple of notable financial interactions with Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 41, when Deo first went for Darshan, he offered one rupee. Sai Baba, however, responded by asking, "Why only one? Bring twenty." Deo immediately complied and gave the twenty rupees.
