A truly wondrous phenomenon occurred regularly in Shirdi, as described in Chapter 18. Baba would often tell a devotee a short story in the Masjid. While the devotee was still absorbing its meaning, Baba would instruct them to go to Sathe's Wada to listen to the scripture reading being conducted by Bapusaheb Jog. Upon arriving, the sincere listener would discover, to their great surprise, that the very same story Baba had just told them was coming up in the book being read at that exact moment. This provided a powerful confirmation and a deeper understanding of Baba's teaching, making it seem as if Eknath's or Jnaneshwar's words were a direct translation of Baba's own story.
