Describe the medical situation of the boy from Malegaon and the extent of treatments tried before his family sought Sai Baba's help.

📖 Chapter 34

In Chapter 34, the medical case presented is that of a young boy, the nephew of a degree-holding doctor, who had a bone-cyst (Hadyavran). This was described as a most difficult and extraordinary malady. The text explicitly states that the boy's own uncle, a physician, along with his colleagues and expert surgeons, became exhausted and helpless. They had tried all native and foreign treatments without success, and even an attempt at surgery failed to bring any improvement. The boy was in constant pain and distress. It was only after all these medical remedies reached their limit and failed that the family decided to seek spiritual intervention from Sai Baba in Shirdi.
