Describe the Madrasi sannyasi's background and the circumstances that led him to Shirdi as mentioned in Chapter 31.

📖 Chapter 31

Chapter 31 introduces a sannyasi named Vijayananda, who hailed from Madras. He was on a pilgrimage, with his initial destination being the sacred Mansarovar, and he also had a vow to eventually go to Japan. His journey brought him through the region where Shirdi is located. Having heard about the great fame of Sai Maharaj, who was renowned as a great saint, Vijayananda developed a strong desire for His darshan. As described in Chapter 31, he decided to interrupt his journey to Mansarovar to visit Shirdi, drawn by Baba's glory. This is presented as an example of how Sai Baba draws devotees from faraway places, like Madras, to His feet.
