Describe the introduction of Aarti for Maharaj and the role of Tatyasaheb Noolkar.

📖 Chapter 0

Even after allowing general worship, Maharaj did not permit his Aarti to be performed for some time. The introductory chapter of the text explains that the honor of performing the very first Aarti went to Ra. Laxman Krishnaji, also known as Tatyasaheb Noolkar. He was a Munsif from Pandharpur who had come to Shirdi on leave due to illness. His deeper intention was to leave his job and spend the remainder of his life at Maharaj's feet, and the text from Chapter 0 notes that this is exactly how his life concluded, implying his devotion was fulfilled.
