Describe the interactions between Boss Dharamsee and the other devotees, Tarkhad and Kaka, and what these reveal about the events in Shirdi.

📖 Chapter 35

The interactions between the devotees in Chapter 35 highlight the different stages of faith. When Boss Dharamsee, a skeptic, arrived, he first questioned Babasaheb Tarkhad, who simply replied that people come for "Darshan" and that their desires are fulfilled. After Dharamsee's personal miracle with the seedless grapes, he sought validation by asking Tarkhad if his own grapes were seeded; Tarkhad confirmed they were, which "extremely surprised" Dharamsee and reinforced the personal nature of the miracle. Dharamsee then tested Baba by thinking that Kaka should be the next to receive grapes, which Baba immediately did. Finally, when someone tried to introduce Dharamsee as Kaka's master, Baba's cryptic reply, "His master is someone else," pleased Kaka and demonstrated a spiritual hierarchy that transcends worldly status.
