Describe the incident where Kashiram encountered robbers. What was he trying to protect, and why was it so important to him?

As detailed in Chapter 0, Kashiram, a cloth seller, was returning from the Naur market when he was attacked by Bhil robbers. While he did not object to them taking some of his belongings, he fiercely protected a small bundle. The robbers thought this bundle contained treasure, but it was only filled with powdered sugar. This sugar was exceptionally dear to Kashiram because he carried it on the advice of another saint, Janakidas Baba, who had told him to feed it to ants. Determined not to let the bundle go, Kashiram fought back, killing two robbers before being struck by an axe and left unconscious.
