Describe the incident where Babasaheb Tarkhad failed to uphold his promise to his son.

📖 Chapter 9

Despite his sincere intentions, Babasaheb Tarkhad did have a lapse in his promise. According to Chapter 9, after his son left for Shirdi, Babasaheb began performing the daily worship himself. His practice was to offer a piece of sugar candy as Naivedya. However, on one particular day, his mind was preoccupied with business matters, and he forgot to make the offering during the morning worship. The mistake was only discovered later in the afternoon when he sat down for his meal and realized the Prasad, the previously offered sugar candy, was not served by the cook as it usually was. This break in the routine was due to his forgetfulness on a busy day.
