Describe the importance Sai Baba placed on completing the 'Parayana' of the Bhagavat, using the narrator's personal experience as an example.

📖 Chapter 18

Sai Baba considered the reading of sacred texts, especially the Bhagavat, to be of utmost importance, and he did not like for it to be interrupted. As Chapter 18 recounts, the narrator himself had a personal experience demonstrating this. One day, while he was in the middle of reading a story from the Bhagavat, the group started heading to the Masjid. Eager to hear Baba’s stories directly, the narrator put the book aside and ran to join them. However, Baba was not pleased. The text notes that in Baba’s mind, there was 'no satisfaction other than the Bhagavat, which had been left in distress.' For this very reason, Baba insisted that the narrator go back and read the remaining part of the book, showcasing the great emphasis he placed on completing the sacred readings.
