Dev provided extensive hospitality after the Sanyasi and his two companions finished their satisfying meal. Chapter 40 details the post-meal rituals that were observed with great respect. These included Uttaraposhan (the final sipping of water), Shuddhachaman (rinsing the mouth), and the partaking of fragrant cool water. Furthermore, Dev offered Mukhashuddhi, which are mouth fresheners. The etiquette was completed with offerings of sandalwood paste, flowers, betel leaves, perfume, and rosewater, all of which Dev provided with joy and respect to his guests.
