๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

The introduction in Chapter 0 explains that upon entering the Khandoba temple in Shirdi, Sai Baba first met Mhalasapati, a goldsmith and devotee of Khandoba. Mhalasapati welcomed him and then introduced him to his companions, Kashiram Shimpi and Appa Jagle. These three men had an established practice of serving and looking after saints, Gosavis, and Fakirs who visited the busy village of Shirdi, providing hospitality according to their means. All three quickly became total devotees of Maharaj, who was now called Sai Baba.
